Meet our Sustainability Manager, Emily Slazer

Emily Slazer

Emily Slazer is the Sustainability Manager for Tulane Hospitality. Emily uses the guiding principles of Aramark's Be Well Do Well sustainability strategy and partnership with the Tulane Office of Sustainability to drive more sustainable food service practices in residential dining halls, retail locations, and campus catering. With partnership and collaboration from the entire Aramark team, Tulane University staff and faculty, and the student body, Emily is leading new initiatives to reduce and divert waste, increase energy efficiency, incorporate locally grown and harvested food, and more across campus. Emily is an alumna of Centenary College of Louisiana and a lifelong resident of south Louisiana. In her free time, she likes to read and cook with locally grown produce and fresh Gulf seafood.
